a Hire Car
Hertz Hire Cars are offered
by "Classification", eg. Compact, Intermediate,
Economy etc. View the types of cars included in
each Classification on the Fleet
page on this website and then go to the Hertz
Booking and Quotations Form to see which classifications
are offered at your chosen destination. |

require can be specified at the time booking and

Online
Hertz Car Hire Booking
Hertz provides preferential
rates for Hire Cars booked online. Book now to make
sure you can get the car you want where you want
it.
Use the Hertz Booking and Quotations
Form to make a reservation. You will be able
to specify your chosen destination and the dates
and times for collection and return. If you want
to do a "one-way hire" (ie. collect from
one town and return to another) simply tick the
"I'm returning this vehicle to a different
location" box and you will be able to select
a return location. If required, you can use the

pages on this site for more background information.

Hire Car
Collection
When you collect your car
you will usually require at least the following
(see the "Rental Qualifications & Requirements"
section in Step 2 of the quotation process):-
Credit Card
 -
the cardholder needs to be the person booking and
driving the car
-
needs to be an acceptable card - see "Rental
Qualifications & Requirements"
-
the card must have sufficient credit to pay for
rental and extras
ID - (Passport for UK citizens)
Driving License (held for at least 1 year) |

Things
to Consider
All the following will require
confirmation at the time of booking. Details can
obtained from the "Rental Qualifications &
Requirements" section in Step 2 of the quotation
process
The car usually comes with a full tank of fuel (and
must be returned with a full tank of fuel)
Additional drivers are charged at a daily rate
Usually the minimum age for drivers is 25 (23 for
certain classifications and with a surcharge)
An Excess may apply in the case of theft or damage
to the hire vehicle even with TP or CDW
Super Cover provides additional insurance protection
and is available as an Optional Extra at
time
of collection
Check with your Travel Insurance or your Credit
Card Supplier (the Card used to pay for the
car
hire rental) regarding your cover for the Excess
above
Personal Insurance for Injury, Medical Expenses,
Theft etc is available as an Optional Extra
at
time of collection
Facilities for disabled customers are available

Getting
a Quotation
Use the Hertz
Booking and Quotations Form to obtain a free
no-commitment quotation. Simply enter your Pickup
and Return locations and dates and Hertz will provide
a selection of quotations for differant classifications
of hire car. See the Fleet
page on this site for more background information
on the differant types of car available. |

Finding
Hertz Branches
To see the various Hertz
outlets at a particular location simply type the
name of the town, city or airport into the Pickup
Location text box on the Booking
and Quotations Form below and click the adjacent
"Go" button. A popup or panel will open
showing the Hertz outlets for that location eg.
town-centre ("downtown"), airport or hotel. |
